but for the love of god, i have a few things to say.

-you are responsible for your internalized misogyny. i dont care that youre a woman: a sexist is a sexist is a sexist.

-the sexism a white woman experiences is not the sexism a black woman experiences is not the sexism a hispanic woman experiences is not the sexism an asian woman experiences, on into infinity. recognize your privileges. (same can be applied to socioeconomic class)

-feminism is about equality. in other words, feminism IS supposed to recognize men's issues that stem from sexism. examples include: men being discouraged from being emotional, men being told it's "gay" to take up feminine hobbies, little boys being molded just as much as little girls into a gender stereotype which confines the fluidity of gender expression. male rape victims being the butt of jokes, and trust me, i could keep going, but let's sum it up: if your feminism excludes men, it's not feminism.

-radical feminism is fucking nuts. all of it is fucking nuts and finally

-yes, sexism exists in the us and other countries with similar politics (the wage gap, sexual objectification, domestic violence rates, rape culture, etc) but you are not as bad off as a woman from india who gets stoned to death for cheating on her husband after she was raped, and your responsibility as a feminist is to priortize the importance of issues.

in other words, i could give two shits about miley cyrus or whichever popstar decided to take the feminist mantle despite making money off sexist stereotypes. it's a big world, and if your feminism isn't multicultural, intersectional, etc, get the fuck out.

Oh hell yes. I am a feminist and I can get pretty angry about it too, but there are quite a few issues with Western feminism in general. Lack of inclusion being the primary one.
